How does one manifest the heart's desire!

Every religion on earth has its own set of instructions for the student who are followers of that path.  The Christians use the Bible, Judeans use the Cabala, Hindus use the Bhagvad Gita, Muslims use the Qur'an and also they use a collection of other holy books known as the Kitab, and ECKANKAR uses the Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad.

Here's a quote from Book One, Chapter Two of the Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad:

Some scriptures describe the ECK as the Word, the Ego principle permeating the universes. It is all that and something more as well. All that is, that will be, and that was, is nothing but the ECK. All find expression in the ECK, the Word. All is manifested in the ECK and by the ECK. All are represented by the ECK.

As stated in an earlier posting, ECK is the term in ECKANKAR for Holy Spirit.

To expand on this idea of manifesting according to the teachings of ECKANAKR and the writings of ECK Masters I excerpt the following from Chapter Two, "The Symbols of Princes" in The Flute of God, Paul Twitchell, Copyright © 1969 by Eckankar:

The principle that exists here is simply: “As Above, so Below!”

This is one of the greatest principles ever given in the field of thought. It means that whatever you think is bound to be yours, be it good, bad or indifferent. The outer world is manifested upon the emanations made by Soul; the general results are the cause of their inner thinking. The God Power is based upon wave lengths, and indeed there is no above or below when acting outside of space. We think in terms of operating on various wave lengths through the power of thought.

Let us advance this thought further. Whatever we think, we are. Rebazar Tarzs, Kabir, Guru Nanak, St. Paul, Fubbi Quantz, Zoroaster, Buddha, Tulsi Das and many other Masters and savants have told us this time and again.

Here is a simple illustration: You are acquainted with the way that modeling clay can be formed into any shape you desire? You know the way you make an impression on it by laying a coin or a key on the clay and pressing it? You produce a perfect reproduction in reverse on the clay. If the reproduction were filled with liquid plaster and allowed to harden, you would then be able to lift out an exact copy of the coin or key.

This is how it is as one uses the visual powers of the mind in harmony with the God Powers. By jelling a clear image or impression of what you desire and holding it clearly every day, you make an impression on the God Power.

Into this hollow thus formed, the everpresent, interpenetrating Divine Power flows, like the liquid plaster, and presently you have the perfect reproduction of what you held in mind. Remember that it is what happens when you think – so think of what you wish to be produced in your life. Here is an eternal, unchanging process that always works.

With that said, I should also give the warning that is just ahead of this last one in the same chapter:

That individual who is greedy for riches is allowed to amass them; then possession of those riches becomes the sword that strikes him down. With millions at his command, he is often placed in a position where no sum of money can help him. A man, thus, must face his own weakness, and conquer it or be conquered by it. If the latter, then he has been found wanting. Those who are not defeated rise from the depths to soar again, to rebuild life anew, and here they have the help of the SUGMAD.

For those unfamiliar with the term SUGMAD, pronounced SOOG mahd, I give a brief description:

The supreme God. The formless, all-embracing, all-pervading, impersonal, infinite, the Ocean of Love and Mercy; from it flows all life, all truth, all reality; all wisdom, love and power.

A Discourse on the Subconscious Mind!

Re-reading my first post, "Sharing the Light and Sound of God!", I realized that some may think I am a egotistical know-it-all.  I freely admit that I am one of those who likes to show what I know, and in that regard, you should be cautious of anything I may try to sell you later! lol...

"A person who is truly knowledgeable will rarely do a great deal of talking on any subject."  Paul Twitchell said this in "The Flute of God."  And then he went on to write several books about what he knew on many subjects.  The truth is, his goal as well as mine and many others, is to become a Co-worker with God, and in this endeavor, we share our understanding with the hopes of helping others to understand themselves a little better.

No, I won't be trying to sell you anything so relax and enjoy life.  I am on a journey of self-discovery, and what I write, say and do all have a bearing on my journey.  What you'll see here is of my own personal understanding at this time, and is subject to change in any moment of realization, but in this moment of writing my thoughts, I am simply trying to understand more clearly the principles of which I am learning.  Any thoughts you may have and would like to share, I'd love to hear them.  It will aid me greatly on my spiritual path, so please feel free to leave comments.

I thought it best before giving a method of bringing the mind under control of Soul as promised in the last post, that a little background about the mind and how it works may help the understanding.  Much of my understanding comes from the direct teachings of ECKANKAR.

The subconscious mind (sometimes referred to as the unconscious) is a part of the Universal Mind.  The universal mind is the negative power or force of the universe.  In ECKANKAR, this universal mind force is sometimes referred to as the Kal Niranjan or simply, the Kal force.  This negative Kal force is the unlimited creative force.  This connection can be of a great benefit to us individually, for it is through this connection one may tap into that creative force to create one's desire of the heart.

The subconscious mind is responsive to the conscious will, which means that the unlimited creative power of the Universal Mind is under the control of the conscious mind of each individual.  It is up to each of us to use this power according to our judgment and free will.  So use it wisely because you are responsible for whatever you may create.  It's not necessary to know the methods of how this works, only that as you follow your heart's guidance, which hopefully is inspired by the ECK's desire, your subconscious mind via the Universal Mind will produce the desired results.

Recognition is all it takes for any desire to manifest because everything is available for realization here and now.  Keep in mind the negative force is of the lower world plane only.  The higher planes, where negativity does not exist, will require a new set of laws with which to operate.

Sharing the Light and Sound of God!

This is my first real attempt at blogging, so stay with me as I try to muddle my way through!  Bear in mind that all I say here is of my own personal opinion and may not reflect truth as you find it.

The reason I have decided to blog is it gives me an outlet for the love that I receive.  One must give out what one receives in order to get more of that he gives out....if that makes any sense!

I've heard and read much being said about how one creates his own world.  I should explain that I am a student on the path of life.  My chosen field of study at this time is ECKANKAR, the Religion of Light and Sound.  The main tennet of ECKANKAR is that "Soul exists because God loves It."

A friend posted on FB his idea of how to create things.  I won't give his name here to preserve his privacy, but I quote:  "Only in spirit do you find life. words are empty without the spirit of being."  This very intuitive statement says all that needs be said about creating one's life experiences.  It is within the law of attraction that this can be seen.

The law of attraction has been stated in many ways but here is one's idea of it:
Non-resistant thought expands the heart center, while resistant thoughts contract it.  Pleasant thoughts expand; unpleasant thoughts contract.  Thoughts of courage, hope, power, confidence, etc. produce in one a corresponding state of consciousness.  The main arch enemy of the heart is fear.

Once fear has been demolished, one will find that his/her consciousenss is in harmony with the the ECK or Holy Spirit.  The ECK is the Word of God, spoken of in the Bible, John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."   This is the all-powerful force that God used to create the universe.  When one consciously can realize this power by a practical demonstration of his/her ability to overcome any adverse condition by this power there is nothing left to fear.

It is man's attitude of mind which creates (or determines) the experience which will present itself in this moment.  If one expects much, then much will be received.  This fact can be proven by experimenting with this idea.  It can be seen clearly by observing the different attitudes of people and comparing their experiences.

One who knows that he/she has a heart center will fear nothing.  For then, one is too busy radiating courage, confidence, and the power of ECK.  Anticipation of love is now one's atttitude.  Acknowledgement of one's ability toward peace and harmony will bring a realization that there is nothing to fear because one is in touch with the ECK.

Joy, peace and harmony with all life can and will be had by one who is able to fulfill his/her own desires.  The most natural way for making the desired impression is to put the mind under control of Soul.  In reality, Soul is who we are, not the physical body, not the mind, and certainly not the emotions.
